Yibin – the starting point of Yangtze…

    large_overview

It’s the Starting Point of Mighty Yangtze River!

Human habitation of Yibin dates back at least 40,000 years. Yibin was established as a county in the Han dynasty (206 BC – AD 220). Min & Jinsha merge here to give birth to mighty Yangtze river which empties into East China sea at Shanghai.

We are so lucky to be there on 3rd June along with Anilji Ahirkar of Nagpur and Wendy Fowler from Australia.

    Ma Gu Shan…

    10141025

A folklore suggested the existance of a beautiful lady in these eastern mountains of Jiangxi province, which is the backside of Wuyishan of Fujian province, who established a taoist tample in these dancing green tea growing area, which was the remedy for all the ills of humanity.

On the afternoon of 23rd April we were there and prayed to God for the establishment of Darjeeling tea in China.

Let our prayers be heard on this Mother’s Day today.
