Manon, the french student, who is leaving back on 1st July, rode the buffelo and the village onlookers were very curious to see a pretty foreigner girl sitting on a mount.
This years current batch of french students were taken around our tea garden by Ankit yesterday and it is so surprising to see the lush growth of tea leaves now.
Xiao Juan from Beijing visited us and we took her to Giddapahar, Castleton, Makaibari & Margaret's Hope tea estates to show her Darjeeling tea manufacture.
Tea Board of India participated from ITPO pavellion of 2nd South Asia Fair, which was in turn part of Kunming Fair 2009. Our Counsulate General from Guangzhou appreciated Lochan Teas efforts of exporting teas to China.
Once more Tea Board unknowingly gave a chance to represent India in yet another well attended International tea conference and I read a paper on Indian tea scene among international tea stalwards from USA, UK, Russia, Canada, Germany, Italy & Morrocco.
