Tea Park...
Our local minister Ashok Battacharya took the initiative to start the process of allocation of lands inside the earmarked Tea Park in Siliguri and SJDA, Tea Board, ITA, STAC and other relevant bodies convened a meeting on the afternnon of 13th followed by the site visit on the 14th November 2009.
JV Gokal, Ambootia & Tiwari Packers from Kolkata were keen in these activities and they visited our facilities also.

China Tea Expo 2009...
Lochan是我的忘年交,印度的茶叶商人。其实,他不愿被人称为商人,好似在印度商人也带有点点儿贬义,也许“茶人”是更好的名字。他酷爱中国文化,特别是中国的茶文化;喜欢中国电影,特别是张艺谋的电影;喜爱中国的音乐,特别是民歌。虽然罗禅已经年近花甲,仍然可以只身一人从印度辗转来中国,来北京,仍然保持很年轻的心态。他结交了很多年轻的中国朋友,因为他觉得要理解一个国家,特别是这个国家的未来,了解这个国家的年轻人是最好的方式。
北京的茶博会,他是印度红茶的参展商,很久之前答应做他的翻译。五天里,我了解了一些茶的知识和茶的文化,也跟着Lochan认识了很多为复兴中国、乃至世界的茶文化而奔走忙碌的人。在翻译他的很多交谈,以及从他人口中得知,他的生意曾经是多么的困难,而他却非常的耐心等待着时机,等待着市场,等待着发展。一直很喜欢跟他交谈,因为他会用很简单的语言,很简单的方式让我理解一些道理,也会耐心的听我讲述;从他那里我看到淡定、平和和简单。 五天的茶博会在今天落下帷幕,晚上送Lochan乘火车去杭州。离开的时候,眼泪忍不住落下,我是永远不愿生活发生变化.

Our First book...
Many people contributed to this book among Barbara Duffrene, Dan Robertson, Sandy Bushberg & Camellie. We got it printed at Siliguri and shall start its distribution from China Tea Expo 2009 in Beijing from 24th to 27th October from our booth there, where our teas are also participating in black tea compitition.
